Mae Beline's pedigree goes back to the Windridge lines. Even at eleven years old and 9 calves she still had a beautiful udder and looks great all around.
We purchased Mae Beline when she was 10 and as far as we know she had not been milked before. She had such a large amount of milk when she was first fresh we decided to try milking her. We tied her halter to the side of the stall and we were surprised that we could milk her without much trouble. We decided we needed to keep these old Windridge lines going.
Mae Beline's Grandmother, Windridge Kathy at 15 with probably her thirteenth calf. She still looks great. Look at that amazing udder and how well her entire structure has held up. These are the kind of genetics we are hoping to preserve through Shady Oaks Burl.
